Firstly I would like to wish all a Very Happy, Healthy, Productive and Prosperous New Year:)
In My Kitchen This Month
An Egyptian Basbousa, very simple to make from the Maeve O'Meara Food Safari TV series and book.
Left over ham, eggs from our chickens, home grown zucchini, tomatoe and onions make a tasty meal to enjoy with a side salad.
Love this time of year with all the beautiful stone fruits available and of course mangoes by the tray are very addictive.
A Maifan Stone Mill Grinder that I picked up on Gumtree for $20 used by the Japanese for grinding Matcha Tea used in their tea ceremonies, I have tea growing here so I am going to attempt to process my own green tea, couldn't get any fresher and purer than that.
Please take a look at Celia's blog Fig Jame and Lime Cordial for other interesting In My Kitchen Posts.
Have a great day
Shirley :)
