In My Kitchen

In My Kitchen for the month of June are some Chelsea Buns, made yesterday when it was raining and it felt like we just needed something hot and chewy to nibble on with a cup of coffee while sitting watching the rain through the window.
A couple of Bannetons or proofing baskets to get those lovely looking loaves one sees in all the bread recipe books.
My KitchenAid mixer, I have wanted one of these for years so I indulged and bought one last year.
A colourfull Rooster Tile that my daughter bought recently at Eumundi Markets

Why not check out Celia'a blog at http://figjamandlimecordial.com/ to see what others are doing in their kitchens

Have a great day

Shirley :)

  2. Shirley, I LOVE your rooster tile! The bannetons are great too, I use mine all the time. The weather here in Sydney is wet and drizzly today, and I could use one of your scrolls with a nice hot cuppa.. :) Thanks for sharing your kitchen with us!

  4. Hi Lizzy, it was difficult to choose a colour for the KitchenAid's, all the colours are so nice, my daughter bought the black one :)

  6. Hi passionfruitgarden, they were quite nice though I think they could have risen a little more, they took some time to proove but then the weather was cool. The bannetons I got from ebay, with free delivery, they are quite expensive to buy in kitchen shops. So check out ebay you may be able to pick some up.:)
