New Additions

Over the weekend I went to a Living Sustainably Gardening Group that I love attending each month.  Heaps of like minded people there, we can discuss gardening, solar energy, composting, recycling, just about anything that involves living sustainably.  A great group of people who all think alike and love sharing ideas.

I adopted these two adorable creatures that the owner could no longer care for. I already had an old hutch at home so it was handy to be able to give it a quick clean and their home was ready.

We have also made a pen that we are going to move around our orchard for them to keep the grass down, hopefully cutting down a little of the mowing.

Aren't they just adorable?  My daughter now in her early twenties made a real fuss of them as she can remember the guinea pigs she had as a child.  She has named them Bubble and Squeak :)
